Puducherry: Hindu Vanniyars demand reservation

Puducherry, Mar 14: The Hindu Vanniyar Peravai today urged the administration to provide seperate reservation for them on the lines of the minorities.

Talking to newspersons here, 'Peravai' founder-leader Sekhar Naicker said the Vanniyars were not getting adequate representation in the government jobs and hence a seperate reservation was essential. He also appointed Mr N Dharmarajan as the state Convenor for the 'Peravai'.
