Father-son in Crime Branch's net for cheating people in Kashmir

Srinagar, Mar 14 (UNI) Jammu and Kashmir police Crime Branch (CB) has filed a chargesheet in a local court against a person and his son for cheating people on the pretect of providing them government jobs.

A spokesman of the CB said a complaint was received that one Habibullah Bhat and his son Muhammad Ayub Bhat had cheated a number of people by promising them to provide government jobs.

He said during the investigation it was learnt that they were introducing themselves as personnel secretary and personnel assistant of a minister.

The duo had motivated one Muhammed Sadiq and others that they would provide them government jobs against money.

Later they received Rs 4,35,000 but never provided job to anyone, he said.

The chargesheet was presented before the court of passenger tax, Srinagar.
