A new programme for employment in MP
Bhopal, Mar 14 (UNI) Madhya Pradesh Panchayat and Rural Development Minister Rustam Singh informed the Assembly that a new programme -- Coordinated Livelihood Programme -- would be started in which Rs 12,000 crore would be spent on needy after linking them with three employment providing sectors.
''It aimed to provide permanent desired employment to eight lakh of Below Poverty Line people in agriculture sector,'' he said.
After the minister's reply budgetry demands to the tune of Rs 4,000 crore were passed.
