Precious metals fall on bullish advice: BBA

Mumbai, Mar 12: Both the precious metals fell today as Silver and Gold dropped by Rs 150 per kg and Rs 115 per ten gm respectively on thin buying support, in the opening session of trading in the bullion market here. Following were the opening rates of spot silver and gold in the Bombay Bullion market: Silver (per kg) 999 fineness grade : Rs 24,485 Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 12,730 Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 12,785.
