Piaggio launches two three-wheeler variants

Chennai, Mar 12 (UNI) Piaggio, the leader in diesel three wheeler category, today launched two new three-wheeler variants - ape Xtra and ape Xtra LD.

Talking to newspersons here, J Narayanan, Head, three-wheeler Business said the launch of the new variants had been timed to synchronise with the burgeoning economic activity and provide the country's light transportation sector value.

Mr Narayanan said the two variants would set a new standard in three-wheeler performance and deliver higher outputs on all critical parameters.
