Music album of film "Shaurya" launched in Mumbai

Mumbai, Mar 12 : The Red Lounge in Cinemax Versova in Mumbai today hosted the music launch of the Bollywood film "Shaurya".

'Shaurya' is a story of justice, honour, faith, courage and friendship. It is not a war flick, but a patriotic film.

The film has captivating music composed by Adnan Sami. Javed Akhtar has penned the lyrics.

"I wanted to create a form of music for the film which is neither too ultra modern nor too classical. I created a marriage between both of them, and the music that you hear, is a blend of our roots with modern orchestration," said Sami.

A poem read by Shah Rukh Khan will be a part of Shaurya's soundtrack.

"The story is unique, and if the situations were different, the songs have to be different. This is the first time I have worked with Adnan Sami and I have enjoyed it," said Javed Akhtar.

Produced by Moser Baer India Limited, the film features actors Rahul Bose, Minnisha Lamba, Jaaved Jafferi and Kay Kay Menon.

The film's director, Samar Khan plans to release it in early April.
