Hooda for collaboration with Mauritius
Chandigarh, Mar 12 (UNI) Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda today expressed keen interest in establishing various projects in collaboration with the Mauritius corporate.
Mr Hooda in a meeting with Mauritius Foreign Affairs and International Trade Minister Madan Murlidhar Dullo at Port Louis, Mauritius, discussed various issues of mutual interest.
In the meeting, attended by senior officers of Haryana and Mauritius Government, Mr Hooda informed Mr Dullo about the various projects being undertaken by the state government to make the state self-reliant. The Chief Minister also spoke about various projects being implemented for transforming Haryana from primarily agrarian economy to an industrial economy, a release here said.
Mr Dullo apprised Mr Hooda of various projects being undertaken by the Mauritius Government for the socio-economic uplift of the people of Mauritius. Mr Dullo was of the view that like Europe, with common currency EURO, the SAARC countries should also have a common currency for the development of industries, trade and commerce among the SAARC nations and rest of the world.
Later, Mr Dullo hosted a lunch in the honour of Mr Hooda, which was attended by leading members of industrial and business community and senior officers of Mauritius Government.
