Hearing begins in Kiruttinan murder trial
Chittoor, Mar 12 (UNI) The procedings in the hearing of the trial in the case of murder of former DMK partyman T Kiruttinan began in the sessions court here today.
The main accused M K Azhagiri, the elder son of Tamil Nadu Chief Ministr M Karunanidhi along with Madurai Corrporation Mayor P M Mannan and 11 others were brought to the court amid heavy security and produced before the first additional district sessions Judge P Durga Prasad.
Out of the four witnesses on whom the court had issued notices to appear today, two -- including a relative of late Kiruttinan and car driver Madirasen attended the proceedings.
The Judge recorded three statements and posted the hearing to continue tomorrow.
The hearing will be continud tomorrow and upto April 23, 2008.
