CBI court remands tainted PF official in custody
Madurai, Mar 12 (UNI) A Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Court today remanded Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner Pandiyan to judicial custody till March 25.
The CBI sleuths arrested Pandiyan (57), Assistant Provident Fund Commissioner of Tiruchirapalli for accepting Rs four lakh bribe from an automobile dealer for doing an official favour.
He was produced before the CBI Court here where Judge Karthikeyan remanded him to judicial custody till March 25. Later, he was lodged in the Madurai Central Prison.
