Bangladesh woman held in AP capital
Hyderabad, Mar 12 (UNI) The City Task Force here today arrested a Bangladeshi woman on charges of staying illegally at her residence under Bahadurpura police station.
Police said the special teams arrested Masama Shabnam alias Deepti Roma (21), who was living with a person since last year.
She had entered the country by crossing the India-Bangladesh border along with her friend Kibitha in July 2004. She worked as a dancer in a bar in Mumbai for sometime before coming to Hyderabad in 2006.
A case was registered against her under Foreigners Act, 1946.
She was being probed to ascertain the reason behind her illegal stay in the city.
