Asst. Executive Engineer arrested while accepting bribe
Davanagere, Mar 12 (UNI) An Assistant Executive Engineer was caught red hand by Lokayukta sleuths while accepting bribe from a Contractor for showing official favour here today.
Lokayukta Deputy Superintendent of Police K M Basavarajappa told UNI that M Mallikarjuna, attached to Harihar PWD office was caught while he was accepting Rs 40,000 bribe from Mr Rudregowda for passing his bill for Rs five lakh.
The arrested was produced before the court.
