Nine dead, 21 injured in bus mishap in Punjab
Gurdaspur, Mar 11 (UNI) Nine passengers, including three women were killed and 21 others were injured when the private bus they were travelling in overturned between Dhariwal and Naushera Majha Singh on the Amritsar-Pathankot highway in the district this afternoon.
According to police reports, the bus was moving at high speed when it overturned, bad condition of the road was cited as the reason for the mishap.
The injured were rushed to the civil hospital here.
The bus was on its way to Amritsar from Pathankot. The identity of the victims is still not known.
