Kate Beckinsale likes poking fun at hubby's American accent

London, Mar 11 : Actress Kate Beckinsale has revealed that she and her nine-year-old daughter Lily 'gang up' on her American director husband Len Wiseman because he doesn't understand the English culture.

The 'Pearl Harbor' star, who met Wiseman when he directed her in the horror flick 'Underworld,' is pleased to have married an American because she likes poking fun at her husband's accent.

"We've been married now for three years, and together for at least six, so I'm getting over the shock that he's American," The Daily Express quoted Beckinsale, as saying.

"I don't understand how anyone has any fun if they're married to someone from their own culture, because we have an amount of ridiculous fun teasing each other.

"I mean, my husband is just lampooned, basically, all the time, by my daughter and I," she added.

The 34-year-old actress also admits she and Lily enjoy force-feeding Wiseman British delicacy Marmite.

"We gang up on him with our English accents, and make him eat Marmite and things," she said.
