High court serves notices to Chiranjeevi, family
Hyderabad, Mar 10 (UNI) The Andhra Pradesh High Court today served notices to Telugu matinee idol Chiranjeevi and his family members based on a criminal revision petition filed by K Nandini, the first wife of Chiranjeevi's film star brother Pavan Kalyan.
Ms Nandini filed the petition in the High Court on March 7, challenging the dismissal of her complaint on her husband's 'bigamy' case by a lower court.
The High Court issued notices to 11 members including Chiranjeevi's families and sought their respones in four weeks.
The First Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate Court in Visakhaptanam had recently dismissed the petition saying the complainant failed to prove her allegation that Mr Pavan married actress Renu Desai.
She included Pavan's mother Anjana Devi and his brothers Chiranjeevi and Nagendra Babu, brother-jn-law Allu Aravind and Renu Desai as respondents.
