UNPA condemns attack on CPM and MP Jaya Prada's premises

Jaipur, Mar 9 (UNI) The United National Progressive Alliance(UNPA) today strongly condemned the attacks at the CPI(M) headquarters.

in New Delhi and Samajwadi Party MP Jaya Prada's premises in Rampur.

Talking to reporters here, UNPA Chairman Mulayam Singh Yadav and party Convenor N Chandrababu Naidu said that the incidents in Delhi and Rampur allegedly involving activists of RSS and BSP respectively showed the mindset of fundamental communal and casteist outfits.

Mr Naidu said such acts reflecting frustration of these outfits had no place in a democratic set up.

Mr Yadav said the government should take immediate steps to curb such forces or his party would be left with no option but to retaliate.

Mr Yadav and Mr Naidu were in the city to address a farmers' rally organised by UNPA ally Indian National Lok Dal.
