TN: DMK names candidates for RS polls

Chennai, Mar 9: The ruling Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK), heading the DPA in Tamil Nadu, today announced the party candidates for the March 26 Rajya Sabha elections.

A party release here said Mr A A Jinnah and Ms Vasanthi Stanley will be its candidates for the Upper House of Parliament.

The elections are being held to fill six Rajya Sabha seats from the Tamil Nadu Assembly, which fall vacant on April two.
