Another ill woman, 2 minors, airlifted from north Kashmir
Srinagar, Mar 9 (UNI) The Indian Air force (IAF) today airlifted yet another seriously ill woman and her two minor children from snow bound Keran area in north Kashmir.
An official spokesman said an information was received from local authorities at Keran that a woman Rahida Begam was critically ill and needed specialised treatment.
He said IAF authorities were contacted immediately by the divisional authorities for making the required arrangement, which in turn, pressed into service and the three were airlifted. They were admitted in the SKIMS.
This is the third time that the IAF has airlifted ill patients from far flung snow bound areas in the Kashmir division.
