GoAir wins Berlin's efficiency award in tourism
New Delhi, Mar 7 (UNI) GoAir, India's smart fare airline, has bagged the coveted award for 'Best Domestic Airline For Excellence in Quality and Efficient Service' during the global tourism event, ITB, at Berlin.
This is the second consecutive year that GoAir has been awarded the prestigious award, in a very stiff competition among airlines of the Asia Pacific Region.
''The Patwa Award is a testimony to our continuous effort in providing quality service coupled with smartest fares.... It is a step forward in my dream of making GoAir as Asia's preferred Airline over the next decade,'' airline's Managing Director Jeh Wadia said in a press statement today.
Patwa is the world's biggest travel writers' organisation represented by members from 70 countries across the world.
The Patwa International Award ceremony is an annual event at ITB Berlin organised during the world's biggest travel Fair attended by thousands of exhibitors from 180 countries and more than 7,000 travel writers.
The award recognises individuals and organisations, such as aviation sector, hotels, travel agencies, tour operators and government agencies, in promoting tourism.
