Accused in triple murder of three uncles arrested after 7 years
New Delhi, Mar 7 (UNI) Nearly seven years after he killed three of his own uncles in Bihar's Buxar district, the long arm of the law finally caught up with 38-year-old Rajesh who was arrested from Dwarka area of south-west Delhi.
Rajesh Kumar Rai alias Munna, resident of Uttampur village in Buxar, Bihar, and presently living in Palam Village, was arrested yesterday from his workplace in Dwarka following a tip-off, police said today.
''Bihar Police has been informed about the arrest,'' the police said.
During interrogation, Rai said he along with others in his family killed his three uncles after a fight over possessing two firearms which were in the name of his father.
Investigations revealed that four of the accused in the case had been arrested and convicted to life-term and death penalty. Whereas, four others, including prime accused Rajesh Rai, had been absconding.
