KMDA signs MoU with real estate developers
Kolkata, Mar 6 (UNI) Kolkata Metropolitan Development Authority (KMDA) today signed three Memoranda of Understanding with real estate developers worth Rs 800 crore.
State Minister for Urban development Ashok Bhattacharya said on the occasion that the KMDA was pleased to sign the three MoUs worth RS 800 crore.
'' In addition the price of the land was Rs 360 crore, half of which was paid by the developers in advance and the rest would be paid at a later date, '' he said.
Raghav Mundra, Managing Director of Simplex, signed the MoU with KMDA Chairman P R Bhaviskar for a multi-storeyed Car park near City Centre in Salt Lake, while Mr Jugal Khetwat of South City and Sushil Mohta of Merlin Group signed a MoU with KMDA for Development and IT Logistics Centre at Sector V in South City with South City Merlin Consortium.
The third MoU was signed between Dhoot Developeres Pvt Ltd's Pawan Dhoot and KMDA for Development and Management of Office Complex at two sites in Salt Lake.
Mr Bavishkar expressed happiness at the Public-private enterprise in the state and hoped the MoUs would only give fillip to the future business.
Sourav Ganguly and S A Ahmed, Chairman NDITA were also present on the occasion.
