GTDC MD now Director of Indutries department

Panaji, Mar 6 (UNI) The Goa government today announced some transfers and new postings with Sanjit Rodrigues, presently Managing Director, Goa Tourism Development Corporation (GTDC), appointed the new Director of Industries, Trade and Commerce.

However, Mr Rodrigues will continue to be the officer on special duty to the Chief Minister. He will be replacing the incumbent S V Naik of the industries department.

Meanwhile, Elvis Presly Gomes, who is presently Director of Tourism, shall hold charge of the GTDC in place of Mr Rodrigues, official sources said today.

Mr Naik has been posted as Director of administration, Goa Medical College, besides he is also holding charge as the Managing Director of Goa Handicrafts Rural Small Scale Industries Development Corporation (GHRSSIDC).
