Case against Minister's son in MP

Harda, MP, Mar 6 (UNI) A case has been registered against Madhya Pradesh Revenue Minister Kamal Patel's son Sandeep and some others in connection with firing at this district's Devtal village.

''The case was registered at Harda Police Station following a complaint by Devtal's Congress leader Rajendra Patel,'' Superintendent of Police Akhilesh Jha said here today.

Mr R Patel alleged that the accused opened fire outside his residence last night as he had been raising corruption cases against the Minister. The Congress leader returned fire.

''It is yet to be confirmed whether Sandeep opened fire as the spent cartridges found on the scene were of bullets fired by Mr R Patel,'' said Mr Jha. Meanwhile, the Minister described the incident as a political conspiracy to defame his family and added that his son was not here last night.
