Abhishek Industries bags TEXPROCIL Award for terry towels
Chandigarh, Mar 6 (UNI) Punjab based Abhishek Industries Limited (AIL) has bagged the coveted Cotton Textile Export Promotion Council (TEXPROCIL) Silver Trophy for 'Top Exporters - Madeups' in the category of terry towels for the year 2006-07.
The award was presented by Union Minister of State for Textile in a function held in Mumbai recently.
The prestigious TEXPROCIL Awards were instituted in the year 1975-76 to recognise the notable contribution made by the cotton textile industry towards India's export revenues.
