London, March 5 : The online video through which Hollywood star Jack Nicholson has tendered his support to Democratic candidate Hillary Clinton's presidential campaign has become a huge hit.

Insiders at the video-sharing web site, YouTube, have revealed that the video has been viewed more than 1.2 million times since its release.

The video titled 'Jack and Hill' features excerpts from some of Nicholson's hit films-namely 'Batman', 'The Shining', 'Chinatown', and 'A Few Good Men'.

Nicholson has used a clip from his 1989 film Batman in the video to suggest that Clinton is more capable than her main Democratic candidate Barack Obama, reports the BBC.

Besides Nicholson, Clinton is also being supported by director Steven Spielberg, singer Barbra Streisand and actress Eva Longoria Parker.

Nicholson took the help of American actor-director Rob Reiner to make the video.

In one of the sequences, according to Contactmusic, The Shining character Jack Torrance says: "Things could be better, Lloyd. Things could be a whole lot better."

Side-by-side the message "Clinton has a plan to deal with the nearly 47 million Americans without health care" flashes up on screen.

In another sequence, Nicholson's character from A Few Good Men says: "There's nothing sexier than saluting a woman."

The clip's spokesperson Yusuf K. Robb has revealed that it has been made without Clinton's approval.

"They (Nicholson and Reiner) decided to do this as something on their own to assist her campaign," Robb said.
