Wanted dacoit guns down police informer

Fatehpur, Mar 4 (UNI) Dreaded dacoit Umar Kevat, carrying a bounty of Rs 50,000 on his head, today shot dead a police informer here.

Kallu Nishad of Narseerpur was shot at by the dacoit near Kharkheru colony, Superintendent of Police (SP) K S Pippal said.

He died on the spot, the SP added.

The deceased's father had killed a relative of the dacoit two years ago.
