Punjab to celebrate World Consumer Rights Week from Mar 15
Chandigarh, Mar 4 (UNI) To mark 'World Consumer Rights Day', the Punjab Government would launch a week-long campaign from March 15 to March 21.
According to an official spokesman, during the week-long campaign to educate the consumers regarding their rights and duties seminars and lectures would be organised in the state and educative literature, posters and pamphlets would be distributed to the public. School and colleges would organise essay and declamation contests and also painting and poster competitions to mark this week.
Important judgements of Consumer Forums would be highlighted through media. Doordarshan and Radio would broadcast skits and plays focused on rights of consumers, the spokesman said.
