Lawyer, two others held with fake currency

Malappuram, Mar 3 (UNI) A lawyer and two others were arrested for possessing fake currency in the face value of Rs 87,500 at Kottakkal in the district.

Police said Advocate Mohammed Ashraf, Feroze and Johnson were arrested with fake currency notes in the denomination of Rs 500 and Rs 1000 denominations last night.

Investigations are on, police added.
