2 girls die of malnutrition in Nashik district

Nashik, Mar 4 (UNI) Two 18-month-old girls have died of malnutrition in Kalwan taluka of this district.

The two girls had been admitted to different child development centres in the district, sources said.

Dhanshree Gaikwad, who was admitted to the Tirhal child development centre, was found suffering from anaemia and was later shifted to the Kalwan sub-district hospital. She, however, died yesterday.

The other girl, Jui Pawar, was admitted to the Dalwat child development centre on complaints of fever, diarhoea and vomitting.

She, too, was shifted to the Kalwan sub-district hospital where she died yesterday, the sources said.
