Gold zooms to Rs 12,745 per ten gm

Mumbai, Mar 3: Standard Gold today continued to break all records, registering all-time high of Rs 12,745 per ten gm and Silver recorded a new high of Rs 24,570 per kg in the closing session on bullish global advice, traders at the Bombay Bullion Association (BBA) said.

The yellow metal edged up by Rs 180, while the white metal rose by Rs 550 per kg, traders added.

Following are the closing rates of spot silver and gold: Silver (per kg) 999 fines grade : Rs 24,570 (24,020) Gold (per 10 gm) Gold 99.5 purity standard mint : Rs 12,745 (12,565) Gold 99.9 purity pure gold : Rs 12,800 (12,620).
