Hyderabad, Mar 3: With the security forces enhancing surveillance along the Indo-Bangladesh border, the ultras are infiltrating into the country from neighbouring Nepal, a top Intelligence Bureau (IB) official said.

''The Indo-Bangla border is under strict vigilance with the deployment of additional forces. The chances of terrorists intruding from Bangladesh is zero,'' the official said. However, terrorists trained in Bangladesh enter Nepal and subsequently sneak into the Indian soil to spawn terror activities. ''The terror outfits have taken an 'easy way' to enter India from Nepal. They identify 'soft places' to infiltrate. They usually land in Uttar Pradesh and Bihar after crossing the border.'' The Border Security Force (BSF) had been alerted and steps were being taken to curb infiltration from Nepal, the officer added.
