Zonal commander of CPI(Maoist) arrested

Jehanabad, Mar 2 (UNI) A zonal commander of the outlawed CPI(Maoist) Bihari Yadav was arrested near Atoula Tand village under Kinjer police station area in Arwal district today.

Police said that acting on a tip-off, raid was conducted at a hideout in Atoula Tand village and Bihari Yadav was arrested following a fierce encounter.

''Bihari, injured in encounter, was admitted to a local hospital where his condition was stated to be out of danger'', police said adding raids were being carried out to nab his other accomplices,who had managed to escape from the spot during the raid.
