Two killed as lorry runs over in Kerala

Kannur, Mar 2: Two persons were killed on the spot and five injured when a lorry ran over them at Koodali here late last night.

Police said the deceased were K Ratheesh (32) of Koodali and K Anil Kumar (30) of Thalamunda.

While the injured C Praviya (20) was admitted to Pariyaram Medical College, Seetha (50), Shamna (25), Mekha (10) and Swapna (7) were admitted to a private hospital here.

The lorry was proceeding to a shooting location here from Tamil Nadu when the mishap occurred.
