Rs 4.36 crore for horticulture project

Madikeri, Mar 2 (UNI) Assistant Director of Horticulture H R Naik today said the department has earmarked Rs 4.36 crore for implementation of national horticulture mission project in this district.

Talking to newspersons here, he said Rs 4.13 crore had already been spent for the project.

The poject would help the farmers in pest control, controlling disease of pepper crop, protein supplements to horticulture products, among other things.
