Trinamool and JMM to have poll alliance for Panchayat

Purulia, Mar 1 (UNI) The Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (Soren) and Trinamool Congress will have an electoral alliance and field common candidates for the coming three-tier Panchayat elections in West Bengal.

This was disclosed here by JMM's West Bengal unit president Ajit Prasad Mahto.

''We have discussed the alliance issue with Trinamool Congress supremo Mamata Banerjee in Kolkata recently''.

She was keen to have such alliance and understanding with the JMM (S), Mr Mahto said quoting her as saying.
