Skoda registers 102 per cent growth

New Delhi, Mar 1: Skoda India, a wholly owned subsidiary of SkodaAuto Volkswagen Group, today announced a price revision with effect to reduction on excise duty on small cars announced in the Budget.

A reduction of upto Rs 18,000 is expected across all SkodaFabia diesel variants, with immediate effect. After analysing the post budget impact, the company decided to marginally reduce the price of all Fabia diesel variants. The company also recorded a 102 per cent increase in sales at 1303 units for the month of February, 2008, as compared 644 units in the corresponding month last year.
