Pune Voter ID card distribution to be completed soon

Pune, Mar 1 (UNI) The procedure of issuing Voter ID cards in the 18 assembly constituencies of Pune District will be completed soon, Deputy District Election Officer Varsha Ladhha said today.

Speaking to mediapersons here, Ms Ladhha said that 70 to 75 per cent of Voter ID cards have been already issued and the same is being distributed to voters in rural parts of the district.

The District Election Commission has also set up a special centre to guide the voters in case of any difficulty, Ms Laddha added.

She said the district administration is doing its best to enroll maximum number of voter before the upcoming general election.
