Karunanidhi flays Jaya on Budget comments

Chennai, Mar 1: Tamil Nadu Chief Minister M Karunanidhi today flayed Opposition AIADMK General Secretray J Jayalalithaa for dubbing the budget as ''anti-people''.

In a poem, the Chief Minister said when the entire country hailed Prime Minister Manmohan Singh Congress President Sonia Gandhi, and Finance Minister P Chidambaram for waiving farm loans to the tune of Rs 60,000 crore, giving a bonanza for four crore farmers, she diescribed it anti-people. The union budget, a garden of flowers, was looking like a desert to Ms Jayalalithaa, he said.
