47 students get Orchard India scholarships
Kozhikode, Mar 1 (UNI) Fortyseven primary and lower primary students from various parts of Kerala have been chosen for Orchard India scholarships instituted by Organisaton of Children's Artistic Development.
They were selected for the scholarship in a competition on different topics held recently, Orchard India Secretary Purushan Kadalundi told reporters here today.
He said 11 students, who earned first rank, were eligible for a gold Medal and Rs 1501, while a silver medal and Rs 1001 would be given to 13 second rankers and Rs 750 and a bronze medal to 12 third place winners. Rs 500 and a medal would be given to 11 fourth rank holders, besides citations.
The scholarships will be presented to the winners at separate functions to be held at Kozhikode and Thiruvanthapuram in July and August, respectively, he added.
