Tata Motors to cut prices of small cars

New Delhi, Feb 29: Tata Motors today said it will reduce the prices of its small cars and commercial vehicles (including buses, bus chassis and bus body), in view of the reduction of excise duties from 16 per cent to 12 per cent announced in the Union Budget by Finance Minister P Chidambaram.

The new applicable prices will be announced in the next few days, after the it has studied the details of the policy changes, a company statement said.
