Rs 624 crore earmarked for CWG in Budget

New Delhi, Feb 29: Finance Minister P Chidambaram has provided Rs 624 crore for the Commonwealth Games, to be held in 2010.

While presenting the Budget proposals for the year 2008-09 in the Lok Sabha today, he said the event was only 947 days away and urged the authorities concerned to adhere to the strict time lines and quality standards.
