Lok Sabha adjourned till 1200 hrs over farmers issue
New Delhi, Feb 28 (UNI) The Lok Sabha was adjourned till 1200 hrs, minutes after it assembled today following pandemonium in the House after members of the NDA and other parties vociferously raised the demand for waiver of farmers' loans.
Members of the NDA, SP, BSP, TDP and the AGP trooped into the well of the House, demanding the total waiver of farmers' loans.
The members were raising slogans like ''Kisan ka poora karza maf karo(Waive off farmers' loans''.
They were also supported by Left members who raised the issue standing at their respective places.
However, RJD members raised the issue of MNS chief Raj Thackeray's anti-north Indian diatribe.
After Speaker Somnath Chatterjee's pleas to members to restore order went in vain, he adjourned the House till 1200 hrs.
The House could not take up the question hour for the third consecutive day today.
