DMK MLA's son-in-law escapes bomb attack

Chennai, Feb 29: A ruling DMK MLA's son-in-law survived a bomb attack at the southern Tirunelveli District of Tamil Nadu last night.

Reports received here said Mr Raghuramaiah, son-in-law of DMK Legislator ''Malai'' Raja, was travelling in a car when an unidentified gang hurled country-made bombs at him and fled. However, he escaped without any injuries. Family dispute was said to be the reason behind the attack. Police have registered a case.
