CRPF jawan commits suicide in Jammu
Jammu, Feb 29 (UNI) A jawan of Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) allegedly committed suicide by hanging himself inside his battalion barrack on the city outskirts early this morning, official sources here said.
''The jawan identified as Rishikesh Singh Badoria, a resident of Gwalior, was presently posted in 91 battalion CRPF,'' sources told UNI, adding he was found hanging with the railing of the stairs.
''He did his duty in the morning and later committed suicide by hanging himself inside the battalion,'' they said, adding police have initiated inquest proceedings under section 174 CrPC in this connection.
