Call centre employee from AP stabbed to death

Bangalore, Feb 29 (UNI) A call centre employee from Hindupur in Andhra Pradesh was killed after he was stabbed by an assailant in the city during the early hours today.

Police said Sashidhar (29) returned from work late last night and went out with a friend. While they were walking, a stranger picked up a quarrel and demanded money. When Sashidar refused, he stabbed him.

The youth then went back to his paying guest accommodation near Bannerghatta Road and complained of pain in abdomen.

After being shifted to a corporate hospital, he breathed his last, police said.

He had come to the city just two months ago. The attacker had been arrested, police added.
