Builders feel neglected in the Budget
Mumbai, Feb 29 (UNI) Builders here in the metropolis are not happy with the Union Budget and feel that they have been neglected.
''It is disappointing that the Finance Minister has totally overlooked the two major growth engines of the economy - infrastructure and housing, in his budget speech,'' Builders Association of India, Mumbai centre Chairman Anand J Gupta told UNI today.
According to him, the sector expected certain sops which would have helped the industry to grow further and increase employment generation.
''When we are trying to match up with major international cities, the infrastructure should also match with that. However, the electoral compulsions seem to have prevailed over such factors,'' Mr Gupta added.
