Paul Dano to star in 'Gigantic'

Washington, Feb 28 : Paul Dano, best known for his role in 'There Will Be Blood,' has signed on to star in an offbeat romantic comedy 'Gigantic.'

Zooey Deschanel will also star in the indie feature, which will mark the directorial debut of Matt Aselton, reports the Hollywood Reporter.

Killer Films' Christine Vachon and Charles Pugliese are producing the flick along with Mindy Goldberg of Epoch Films.

The script, written by Aselton and Adam Nagata, revolves around a mattress salesman and a young woman he meets at his store.

The film is tentatively slated to start shooting next month in New York, with Machine Made Media financing the project.
