Magistrate refuses permission to lawyer to meet Asif
Hubli, Feb 28 (UNI) The First Class Judicial Magistrate court hearing the bail petition of Mohammed Asif, who is in CoD custody for alleged links with terrorist organisations, today refused to grant permission to the defence lawyer to meet his client.
While hearing the bail application of Mohammed Asif, the Magistrate ruled that the defence lawyer can meet the accused only after he was subjected to Narco Analysis test by the CoD.
Earlier, Mr I M Jalgar, the advocate appearing on behalf of Mohammed Asif, prayed for grant of permission to meet the accused who was lodged in Bellary central jail.
