Lorry runs over two students
Kannur, Kerala, Feb 28 (UNI) Two students died and two others were injured when a lorry fatally knocked them down at Mattannur Canal here, this morning.
Police said the lorry driver lost control of the vehicle and ran over the students when they were returning from Kunjippalli Madrassa.
The deceased were identified as Farsana (8) and her brother Muhammed Saris (7), studying at Government Mannut UPS. The injured Rishana and Midhun were admitted to a private hospital.
The driver was absconding.
