HC adjourns HMT case to March 10
Kochi, Feb 28 (UNI) Kerala High Court today adjourned till march 10 petitions seeking CBI and Judicial inquies into the HMT land deal.
The Division Bench comprising Chief Justice H L Dattu and Justice K M Joseph granted the adjournment on the request of the petitioner to file a reply affidavit.
The Bench instructed the petitioner to higlight the fact whether a Public Interest Litigation(PIL) was maintainable in the issue.
Meanwhile, the State Registration Department had filed an affidavit stating that the land value prevailing at the time of transaction was Rs 39,000 per cent while the Blue Star Realtors had brought the land paying Rs 1.3 lakh per cent.
