Govt issue notices to fill up 14,531 posts in police dept

Hyderabad, Feb 28 (UNI) Andhra Pradesh Government today issued a notification to fill up 14,531 constable posts in Civil, Armed, Reserve and Sspecial police departments in the State.

According to an official release here, 9,102 (men) police constables and 1,072 (women) posts in Civil Police department, 3,255 (men) and 124 (women) constables in Armed Reserve, 476 posts in Special police, 129 SAR CPL constables and 373 warders in prison and correctional services departments would be filled up soon.

The last date for the submission of the applications was March 29. The detailed information was put up on www.apstatepolice.org.
